After everyone has said their goodbyes, Welcome Week at Arkansas Tech will kick off the first activity with “Playfair” in Tucker Coliseum at 8 p.m. on Saturday. It is hosted by GO BOLD Welcome Week and the Student Activities Board.
“Playfair” is an event designed to help participants bond together as a team by building a community based on trust, cooperation, and support. According to their website, “Playfair” is an energetic and enthusiastic way for incoming freshman to meet almost everyone in their freshman class while also fostering an environment filled with school spirit and campus unity.
Organizers say students should wear their tennis shoes and be prepared to run around at “Playfair.”
Following “Playfair” new students will attend “Tech the Night Away” in Doc Bryan at 9:30 p.m. Only incoming freshman will be admitted. Learn more about Tech the Night Away.
