The Arkansas Radio Theatre and Arkansas Tech’s KXRJ 91.9 FM are airing a special holiday broadcast of “A Christmas Carol.”
Listeners can tune in to KXRJ 91.9 FM or the web simulcast. The show will air on Saturday, Dec. 4, 11, and 18 at 7 p.m.
The cast includes Kent Butler as Scrooge, Jacob Ian Hiatt and Jennifer Terrell as narrators, Cassandra Andrus, Hannah-Leigh Baker, Katy Featherston, Jacob “Jacques” Martin, Paul Webb and James Moses. Sheldon Slinkard recorded the play.
The play is directed by Associate Professor of Speech Dr. David J. Eshelman, founder and artistic director of the Arkansas Radio Theatre.
The radio broadcast is based on the 1843 classic novella by Charles Dickens.
