Sherwood Urgent Care of Russellville took the top overall prize in the 2020 Paint the Town Green and Gold storefront decorating contest presented by the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce and Arkansas Tech University.
Additional winning businesses included the North Arkansas Avenue location of Arvest Bank (best outdoor supply), Board and Brush (best first-time entry) and Legends Casino and Resort (Tech pride and people’s choice awards).
Now in its fifth year, Paint the Town Green and Gold is an initiative that invites local businesses and non-profit organizations to show their support for ATU by decorating their buildings in a Tech theme.
Program sponsors for 2020 were Arkansas Tech University, Arvest Bank, Amcor, Asurion, Community Service Inc., ConAgra Brands, First State Bank, Russellville Nursing and Rehab, Sherwood Urgent Care, Simmons Bank, Sorrells Body Shop, Textbook Brokers and Tyson Foods.
