The Arkansas Tech University Department of Emergency Management will present an emergency preparedness expo on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Dardanelle Community Center.
The expo will be divided into two sessions. Presentations from 2:30-5 p.m. will focus on how civic organizations and churches can prepare for and recover from unexpected events. Similar presentations from 5-8 p.m. will focus on topics related to family and individual emergency preparation and recovery.
Additional sponsors of the expo include Catholic Charities, the City of Dardanelle and the Dardanelle Area Chamber of Commerce.
Admission to the emergency preparedness expo will be free and open to the public. During the evening session, a free meal will be served and those in attendance will be eligible to win door prizes.
The Dardanelle Community Center is located at 2011 Arkansas Highway 22 in Dardanelle.
