The Arkansas Tech University Department of Emergency Management and Catholic Charities will host an emergency preparedness expo on Thursday, April 14, at the Hughes Center in Russellville.
The expo will be divided into two sessions. Presentations from 2:30-5 p.m. will focus on how civic organizations and churches can prepare for and recover from unexpected events. Similar presentations from 5-8:30 p.m. will focus on topics related to family and individual emergency preparation and recovery.
Admission to the emergency preparedness expo will be free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. Those in attendance will be eligible to win door prizes.
The Hughes Center is located at 1000 East Parkway Drive in Russellville.
