Students wishing to apply for the 2010-11 Presidential Leadership Cabinet (PLC) have one week to complete their application.
The Presidential Leadership Cabinet works in cooperation with the Tech administration to advance Arkansas Tech University, and the deadline to apply is Friday, March 12.
Applications are available in the Office of Student Services, the Alumni Office and online by visiting the PLC website.
Members of PLC serve in a variety of roles throughout the year including ushers at university events and assisting Green and Gold Club members at football games. The group also hosts a clothing drive each year and donates the items collected to area charities.
Students wishing to apply must be full-time students, have completed 12 hours at Tech and have a 3.0 cumulative GPA. A selection committee will interview interested students who meet the required criteria, and the interviews will take place on Thursday, April 1, and on Friday, April 2.
Arkansas Tech faculty and staff are also able to nominate students for membership to PLC and can do so by contacting PLC Advisor Alison Parks.
