Some buildings at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville will experience a planned disruption in water service on Friday, March 16, beginning at 1 p.m.
Water will be shut off to some buildings in order to allow for Stroupe Building and Roush Residence Hall to be taken off line in preparation for the demolition of those facilities.
These are the facilities that will be affected during the water service shut down during the afternoon hours on Friday, March 16: Administration, Crabaugh, Wilson, Williamson, Critz, Hughes, M Street, Caraway, Tomlinson, Browning, Public Safety, Techionery and Jones.
The water shut down on Friday, March 16, is anticipated to last for no more than three-and-a-half hours.
Pre-shut down work will begin on Wednesday, March 14. The possibility of a water line rupture will exist once that process begins and could accelerate the schedule.
