PDI Offers Business and Industry Training

 

The Professional Development Institute and the Russellville Industry Council have teamed up to provide training for business and industry employees throughout the Arkansas River Valley.

The courses are funded by the Arkansas Incumbent Worker Training Program through the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. Participants are responsible for a $50 materials fee for each course.

All courses in this series are conducted at Lake Point Conference Center from 1 – 5 p.m. on the dates listed.  Each enrollee must provide an hourly wage/salary rate for grant match reporting purposes.   Director of the Professional Development Institute and certified Achieve Global trainer, Mr. Jeff Aulgur, will facilitate the following sessions (all on Wednesdays):

Introduction to Leadership Qualities – Jan. 19

Developing Others – Jan. 26

Giving Recognition – Feb. 2

Activating Change: The Individual Contributor – Feb. 9

Developing Team Agility:  Day to Day Tools – Feb. 16

Resolving Conflicts Within Your Team – Feb. 23

Additionally, Microsoft Office 2007 courses are conducted free of charge at Lake Point Conference Center with a limit of 15 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Each course is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 – 5 p.m.
