Arkansas Tech University will once again host Party at the Plaza before home football games this fall. While each Party at the Plaza will feature a family-friendly atmosphere, each party will be unique.
The first Party at the Plaza will begin at 4 p.m. this Saturday prior to the game against Delta State.
Those in attendance will enjoy music from KWKK 100.9. Additionally, young Tech fans will be able to enjoy a variety of free large inflatable games.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., Chartwells will serve a pre-game tailgate meal on the plaza. The meal costs $7, and it will feature several tailgating staples. Students who have a meal plan will be charged one swipe.
New this year, students, alumni and friends will be able to walk the green carpet in hopes of winning a gift certificate to the Arkansas Tech Bookstore. Read more about the green carpet.
Those wishing to purchase Arkansas Tech apparel will be able to visit the Arkansas Tech Bookstore location inside the stadium beginning at 5 p.m.
Pre-game festivities at Arkansas Tech are set to begin at 5:30 p.m., and kickoff against Delta State is slated for 6 p.m.
