Party at the Plaza will be Thursday night (Sept. 6) from 5-7 p.m. before the Wonder Boys take on Missouri S&T at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field.
Beginning at 5 p.m., Chartwells will serve a pre-game tailgating meal on the plaza. The meal costs $6, and it will feature several tailgating staples. Students who have a meal plan will be charged one swipe for the meal.
Students, alumni and friends will also have the opportunity to show their school spirit by posing on the green carpet. Fans are encouraged to wear their green and gold for the chance to win a gift card to the Arkansas Tech Bookstore.
The Arkansas Tech Alumni Association will be giving out buttons and megaphones to the first 100 students that visit their tent. Additionally, starting at 6 p.m. attendees will be able to purchase Arkansas Tech apparel at the bookstore location inside the stadium.
The Student Activities Board will be tailgating as part of Thursday’s Party at the Plaza and will be handing out foam fingers, corndogs and pretzels. They will also have an amusement ride for fans to enjoy.
It will be Pope County night, so any adult with a valid driver’s license showing their residence will be able to get into the game for a discounted rate of $5.
