Arkansas Tech University will host Party at the Plaza before Saturday’s Homecoming game against Southern Arkansas University.
This week’s Homecoming party will focus on student group reunions, as several groups will have a dedicated reunion and tailgating space on the Centennial Plaza.
The following student groups will host alumni reunions during Saturday’s Party at the Plaza:
- All Greek organizations
- Agricola editors & staff
- Arka-Tech editors & staff
- Campus Ministries
- Ambassadors/Presidential Leadership Cabinet
- ROTC
- Student Senate/Student Government Association
- Blue Key
- Cardinal Key
- The Center for Leadership & Learning
- College of Business (SIFE, Accounting and Marketing Club alumni)
- The Parks, Recreation, and Hospitality Administration Dept. (HA Society and RP Club)
- T Club
The festivities will begin at 3 p.m., and those in attendance will enjoy a free concert featuring Mister Lucky, Additionally, young Tech fans will be able to enjoy a variety of free inflatable games.
Beginning at 4 p.m., Chartwells will serve a pre-game Tailgate meal on the plaza. The meal costs $5 and it will feature several tailgating staples.
Those wishing to purchase Arkansas Tech apparel will be able to visit the Arkansas Tech Bookstore that is located inside the stadium beginning at 5 p.m.
Pre-game festivities at Arkansas Tech are set to begin at 5:30 p.m., and kickoff against Southern Arkansas University is slated for 6 p.m.
