Arkansas Tech University will host a Party at the Plaza in conjunction with Family Day before Saturday’s home game against Henderson State University.
The pre-game tailgating event is set to begin at 2 p.m., and it will feature a free “Elvis” concert for the Tech community. The concert is set to begin at 4 p.m., and performers are Elvis Tribute Artists Cody Slaughter and Tony Witt. Read more about Elvis and Family Day activities.
The Arkansas Tech University Alumni Association will be on hand and will be giving away free Tech buttons to people stopping by their booth. Read more about how Tech fans can show their spirit.
Fans will also be able to enjoy several inflatable games. Organizers say there will be several inflatable games available at each party, and the games are available free of charge.
Party at the Plaza will also feature a pre-game cookout. The meal costs $5 and will feature a buffet with hamburgers, hot dogs and other favorites. Students at Arkansas Tech with a meal plan will be able to swipe their Tech identification card to purchase the pre-game meal.
