Ozark Campus sets new enrollment record

th anniversary of joining the Arkansas Tech System, the campus is proud to announce even more good news. With a preliminary enrollment of 2,156 students this semester, Arkansas Tech-Ozark has set a new fall enrollment record – making it the ninth consecutive year. Enrollment figures for fall 2013 became official as of the end of the 11th class day for the semester, which was Thursday, Sept. 12. The announcement comes on the heels of a celebration earlier this week marking the campus’ 2003 merger with Arkansas Tech, which saw its enrollment exceed 11,000 students for the first time, giving it an unprecedented streak of 15 consecutive years of record enrollments. Over the past decade, Arkansas Tech-Ozark has increased its enrollment by 616 percent. Chief Student Officer Richard Harris said, “Our growth has been the result of our dedicated faculty and staff, who continue to focus on providing an excellent learning environment for our students, as well as being responsive to the needs of regional industries. “In keeping with our mission, Arkansas Tech-Ozark always will be dedicated to helping our students graduate and obtain good-paying, rewarding careers.” To learn more about Arkansas Tech-Ozark and its offerings, visit www.atu.edu/ozark.
