Ozark Campus accommodates students, offers coursework throughout River Valley

  • Gasoline Engine Theory – an introduction to automotive engines (designated “green” course); Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-7:30 p.m.;
  • Programming I – learn Microsoft Visual Basic programming (no prior programming skills necessary); Wednesday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.;
  • Industrial Fluid Power – basic knowledge and application of physical principals of automotive technology; Monday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.;
  • Technical Mathematics – mathematics as applied to business (banking, payroll, etc.); Thursday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
  • The following is a list of classes being held at Morton Hall, 1700 West C St.:
    • Health Data Content/Structures – topics include health records, professional ethics and role of the health information department (pre-requisite for many Health Information Technology classes); Tuesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.;
    • Medical Terminology – terms relating to body systems, medical processes, drugs and diseases; Tuesday and Thursday, 8-9:20 a.m. and 1:30-2:50 p.m.;
    • Human Anatomical Structure – human structure and basic functions of the body; Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30-10:50 a.m.
    (Both Medical Terminology and Human Anatomical Structure are pre-requisites for the Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physical Therapist Assistant programs.) The following is a list of classes being held at the Crawford County Adult Education Center, 605 Alma Circle Blvd.:
    • Intro to Computers – hardware, software, procedures, systems and human resources as applied to business; Wednesday, 5:30-8:20 p.m.;
    • Technical Mathematics II – pre-requisites are TMAT 1103, 17 algebra score on ACT or 29 algebra score on COMPASS; Tuesday and Thursday, 5-6:20 p.m.;
    • Composition I – review of grammar, writing and intro to research methods; Monday, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
