Orientation Sessions Continue

Dozens of incoming Arkansas Tech students and their parents will take part in today’s orientation session.

Today’s session is the last session planned for the month. Throughout the day, students and their parents are able to learn more about the Arkansas Tech campus.

By attending several breakout groups, students and parents are able to become acclimated to Tech in a variety of areas including services available for students, financial aid, housing, Tech traditions and organizations at Tech.

Special orientation programming is also planned for parents to answer questions they may have about the collegiate experience.

The student sessions are led by current Arkansas Tech students, and organizers say students attending the sessions will be able to connect with upperclassmen and other students attending orientation.  See which students will be leading orientation sessions.

Orientation sessions are offered the following dates:

  • Tuesday, June 26
  • Thursday, July 12
  • Monday, July 16
  • Monday, July 23 to Tuesday, July 24
  • Monday, July 30

The cost to attend the one-day session is $45, and there is a $65 fee to attend an overnight session.  The fee includes an orientation t-shirt, meals and orientation materials. The cost to attend a parent orientation session is $10.
