Arkansas Tech’s chapter of The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at has been helping students enhance “their knowledge of public relations” through professional speaker meetings and other networking opportunities.
Arkansas Tech’s chapter of The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) at has been helping students enhance “their knowledge of public relations” through professional speaker meetings and other networking opportunities.
PRSSA allows students to network with professionals at local, regional, and national events which in the future can prove to be great contacts for students in internships and job opportunities.
The organization also advocates for rigorous academic standards for Public Relations as well as the highest ethical principles and diversity in the profession.
PRSSA also offers opportunities for those not involved in the organization, but are in the major to hear from speakers in the community with Public Relations professions.
PRSSA will be hosting Brenda Harrison of Saint Mary’s Medical Center November 13. Harrison holds the position of Community Relations and plans to share some aspects of her job with Tech students.
The organization invites PR students to join the organization at any time, by showing up to the meetings once a month and attending their events
