Members of Arkansas Tech University Order of Omega donated $5,609.07 to the Arkansas Torch Foundation following the conclusion of the 2022-23 academic year.

The funds were raised as part of Greek Week activities during the spring 2023 semester.

According to its Facebook page, the Arkansas Torch Foundation was created to provide community empowerment through service and leadership.

“As a community on the Arkansas Tech campus, we are always looking for ways to support and give back and by partnering with this foundation, we are doing just that,” said Rhylie Gachot, ATU assistant director of campus life.

Order of Omega is a leadership honorary society for fraternity and sorority members. It recognizes juniors and seniors who have exemplified high standards in the areas of scholarship, leadership and involvement within their respective organizations and within the campus and local community.

Order of Omega members are selected from the top 3 percent of Greek students at Arkansas Tech.
