Opera Workshop to Present "Die Fledermaus"

The Arkansas Tech University Opera Workshop will present scenes from the 19th century operetta “Die Fledermaus” by Johann Strauss during a performance at Witherspoon Auditorium on Friday, Nov. 19. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. “We are really excited to be able to present scenes from “Die Fledermaus” this semester,” said Dr. Jon F. Clements, assistant professor of music at Arkansas Tech. “Our cast is made up of both returning members as well as several first-time participants. We hope people will come and enjoy the performance.” Anthony Graham, Darren Drone, Alexandria Bradley, Kane Bradley, Ellen Watts, Jace Deeds, Samantha McKinsie, Jordan Lewis, Andrea Brownlee and Scott Arnold are part of the cast.
