On Track Offers Several Programs

Arkansas Tech University students taking part in the On Track program are able to participate in several events this week as part of the program. On Track is a co-curricular experience designed to enhance student development beyond the classroom setting, encourage students to network socially among peers and to include students in traditional and signature university events. The following events will be offered this week: Leader Identified
  •  Distinguished Professionals Forum – This session will offer information about being an effective leader and networking with seasoned professionals. The session is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. in the West Dining Room of Chambers Cafeteria.
Elevated Citizen
  • Student Life Action Day – This event gives students the opportunity to volunteer with Main Street Mission. Students should meet at Doc Bryan at 10:30 a.m., and they should provide their own transportation.
Global Focus
  • India Night – This session will give students an inside look at Indian culture and will be complete with Indian dancing, singing and food.  The event will take place Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Young Ball Room.
  • International Festival and Talent Expo – The expo gives students the chance to learn about a variety of different cultures. The expo is scheduled Friday from 6-8 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Building Lecture Hall.
