The Arkansas Blood Institute is conducting a blood drive at Arkansas Tech University through Friday, Sept. 24.
The drive will be open 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily at the Bloodmobile in the Chambers Cafeteria parking lot, 204 West O Street in Russellville.
Individuals interested in donating are asked to make an appointment at www.arkbi.org or by calling (800) 934-9415.
Appointments are preferred to help facilitate social distancing. Walk-ins will be accepted as the schedule permits.
Through a partnership with the ATU College Panhellenic Council and the ATU Interfraternity Council, if this week’s blood drive reaches 130 donors a financial gift will be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley.
Donors will receive a free T-shirt and one free entry to the Little Rock Zoo while supplies last.
Student donors are also eligible to earn three service hours from ATU Student Government Association.
