Offices, Personnel Relocating to Brown Hall

Several operating areas at Arkansas Tech University are moving in to the new Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall at 105 West O Street in Russellville.

The $16.5 million facility is named in honor of the 11th president of Arkansas Tech and his wife. Dr. Brown was president of Arkansas Tech from 1993-2014. Upon his retirement from the presidency on June 30, 2014, he assumed the titles of president emeritus and distinguished professor of economics.

As of Thursday, March 24, the following offices are relocated to Brown Hall and are operating from the following points inside the facility:

  • Registrar, Suite 307
  • TRIO Student Support Services, Suite 345
  • Budget, Suite 406
  • Payroll, Suite 410
  • Human Resources, Suite 434

The following operating areas will be moving into Brown Hall over the coming weeks:

  • TRIO Upward Bound, Suite 333, beginning March 28
  • Veteran Services, Suite 346,  beginning March 30
  • Financial Aid, Suite 206, beginning April 4
  • Student Accounts, Suite 241, beginning April 7
  • Admissions, Suite 104, beginning April 11

A formal dedication ceremony for Brown Hall is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 16. Members of the campus community and beyond are invited to attend.
