Members of the Arkansas Tech University community are advised that normal traffic patterns on the Russellville campus will be altered by the 2016 RussVegas Half Marathon during the morning hours on Saturday, April 23.
Before noon Saturday, those needing to enter or exit campus should plan on using the following intersections:
*North El Paso Avenue and North Arkansas Avenue (near the Chartwells Women’s Sports Complex; across the street from the fire station)
*West L Street and North Arkansas Avenue (across the street from McDonald’s)
Joshua McMillian, chief of the Arkansas Tech Department of Public Safety, reminds the campus community that “while on campus Saturday morning, please be patient with traffic as longer than normal wait times might exist to exit or enter campus.”
Due to the large amount of participants expected for the RussVegas Half Marathon, those needing to visit campus on Saturday, April 23, may find it more convenient to delay their visit until the afternoon hours if possible.
