Norman Career Services Hosts Two Career Fairs

Arkansas Tech University students will have an opportunity to visit with potential employers during two upcoming career fairs hosted by Norman Career Services.

On Tuesday, Oct. 27, students interested in a career in agriculture will be able to attend the agriculture, food & natural resources career Fair. The fair will run from 9 a.m. – noon in the Young Ballroom.

On Wednesday, October 28, 80 businesses and organizations will be at the fall career fair to speak with students about potential internships and careers. The fair will take place in the Young Ballroom from 1 – 4 p.m.

“These career fairs are a great opportunity for Tech students to begin building their network of potential employers,” said Brandon Wright, director of Norman Career Services at Arkansas Tech. “These companies and organizations are looking to work with our students, and this is a great opportunity to begin making those long-term connections.”

Organizers say all companies attending the fair are looking to hire for full-time, part-time and internships.

Students taking part in the fairs should wear business attire and have resumes to distribute to interested companies.

Students signing up and attending the fairs will be entered to win an iPad Mini. Organizers will be giving one away at each fair.
