Career Center to host open house Aug. 10
The Arkansas Tech Career Center (ATCC) in Russellville will host an open house Friday, Aug. 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Located at 2201 S. Knoxville Ave., behind Russellville High School, ATCC is one of the largest secondary career and technical centers in Arkansas, drawing its 500-plus student enrollment from 11 area high schools in Pope, Yell and Johnson counties.

With school starting soon, the United Way will hold its annual “Stuff the Bus” events to collect school supplies for children in need throughout the region.
School buses will be parked outside Walmarts Friday, Aug. 3, and Saturday, Aug. 4, at the following locations: Alma, Booneville, Fort Smith, Greenwood, Ozark, Paris, Sallisaw and Van Buren.
