Junior forward Fatima Adams ranks No. 2 in the GAC in scoring at 21.1 points per game. Only four Golden Suns — Donna Brunson, Lanell Dawson, Sherry Raney and Jennifer Richardson — have ever averaged more than 20 points per game for an entire season. Richardson was the most recent to accomplish that feat. She averaged 20.4 points per game while helping Arkansas Tech reach the NCAA Division II Tournament national quarterfinals during the 1997-98 season. Senior forward Darrick Little scored a season-high 16 points in a 73-68 loss at Pittsburg State on Wednesday. Senior guard Mike Balogun is shooting 42 percent from 3-point range and leads Arkansas Tech in scoring (14.0 points per game). About the Boll Weevils: Arkansas-Monticello is under the direction of first-year head coach Kyle Tolin, who served as an assistant coach at Oklahoma Baptist University for the last 10 seasons.
