Three full-time staff openings in the Arkansas Tech University Office of Residence Life have been filled in advance of the 2012-13 academic year.

Tommy Fields (photographed, top left) and Allison Vatzlavick (photographed, top right) will serve as assistant directors of housing.

Sabrina Billey (photographed, bottom left) will work as an area coordinator. Billey will be joined in the role of area coordinator by Ellen Malito (photographed, bottom right), who served in that capacity during the 2011-12 academic year.

Fields is a familiar face on the Arkansas Tech campus. He worked in the Office of the Registrar from 2009-2012 and advanced to the role of associate registrar.

A 2007 graduate of Arkansas Tech with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, Fields added a Master of Science degree in college student personnel from Arkansas Tech in 2011.

Vatzlavick comes to Arkansas Tech from Oklahoma State University, where she worked as a resident director and earned a Master of Science degree in educational leadership in May 2012.

Prior to her time in Stillwater, Okla., Vatzlavick studied and worked at the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in classical studies from UT-Arlington in 2004 and worked on the campus as a resident director for four years.

Billey returns to Arkansas Tech after serving most recently as a residence hall director at Texas State University.

She was previously a graduate resident director at Arkansas Tech, where she earned a Master of Science degree in college student personnel in 2009. Billey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Oklahoma State University in 2007.

The Arkansas Tech Office of Residence Life is directed by Aaron Hogan, who was promoted to associate dean of residence life in April 2012.
