The student awards convocation for the College of Natural and Health Sciences will be today, followed by a retirement reception for four valued faculty and staff members.
The awards convocation will begin at 3:30 p.m. in McEver Room 162. The retirement reception will follow at 4 p.m. in the McEver Hall Lobby.
Organizers invite the Arkansas Tech community to extend best wishes to several of their dedicated employees: Bob Allen, Steve Zimmer, Phyllis Cox and Delores McDaniel.
Phyllis Cox, associate professor of allied health, has served Arkansas Tech for 11 years.
Steve Zimmer, assistant professor of chemistry and former director of the Math and Science Institute, has served Arkansas Tech for 22 years.
Bob Allen, professor of chemistry, has been at Arkansas Tech for 32 years.
Delores McDaniel, dean’s secretary for the College of Natural and Health Science, has served Arkansas Tech for 33 years.
