Members of the Arkansas Tech community will enjoy a musical treat this weekend, as the annual Music Theatre Workshop Spring Dinner Cabaret is scheduled for Friday and Saturday evening.
The show, which is an eclectic mix of songs from Broadway musicals past, present, and in between, consists of two acts that feature solos, duets and group performances.
Seating for both shows will begin at 7 p.m. in the Williamson Hall Dining Room.
The cast includes Darren Drone, Kathryn Featherston, Carling Futterer, Katie Lynch, Jonathan Ray, Christopher Turner and Lori Wilson, with a special guest appearance by Keely Futterer.
Cabaret tickets are $25 each, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Arkansas Tech University Foundation for the future development of the Music Theatre Workshop.
Officials strongly suggest reserving tickets as soon as possible, as shows generally sell out fast.
