Arkansas Tech University will celebrate the second Centennial Homecoming by bringing back a university tradition.
Up ‘til Dawn will be selling mums on Wednesday, October 13, for students, faculty and staff, community members and alumni to wear to throughout Tech’s Homecoming festivities.
The tradition of wearing mums to the Tech football games was a longstanding tradition at Tech and will return this year.
The mums will cost $15, and they may be purchased Wednesday from 10:30 a.m.- 1 p.m. in Doc’s Place or until 3 p.m. in the Doc Bryan Student Services Office.
Those purchasing mums will be able to pick them up on Saturday, October 16, from 10 a.m. to noon in Doc Bryan Student Services Building Rotunda or from 3-5 p.m. at the Alumni tent, which will be located at Centennial Plaza.
The proceeds from mums will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
