Morelan to Speak at Pendergraft Library Nov. 14

Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center at Arkansas Tech University will continue its fall 2022 Second Monday Author Series with an appearance by Dr. Bill Morelan on Nov. 14.

Morelan will lead a conversation about his tongue-in-cheek exploration of education entitled “The Novice Teacher Survival Guide: How to Avoid Personal Injury and Major Property Damage” beginning at 7 p.m. in room 300B of Pendergraft Library and Technology Center, which is located at 305 West Q Street in Russellville. The event is free and open to the public.

Morelan is a former elementary and high school principal. He also has experience as a district curriculum director and is a past finalist for Arkansas teacher of the year.

He joined the ATU faculty in 2019 and serves as assistant professor of educational leadership and director of the educational leadership program.

Morelan holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern Adventist University and Master of Arts in Teaching and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Andrews University.

The Nov. 14 event will include a drawing for a free signed copy of “The Novice Teacher Survival Guide.”
