Moore Named Librarian

Kristie Moore has joined the staff of Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus as the Coordinator of Library and Media Services. Moore is a graduate of Claremore High School in Claremore, OK. She graduated from The University of Oklahoma, Norman with a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Native American Studies from The University of Oklahoma, Norman.  Moore has worked as Associate Director for the Crawford County Library System in Van Buren, AR and as Art, Music and Video Reference Librarian for the Wichita Public Library System in Wichita, KS.  

She was honored with the distinction of making Entertainment Fort Smith magazine’s “E-List” in June of 2009 and is also a 2008 graduate of Leadership Crawford County. She currently serves as President of the Board for the Western Arkansas Mountain Frontier Association (tourism) and as a Board Member for the Cherokee Arts and Humanities Council. 

She lives in Van Buren with her husband, Christopher P. Moore.
