Arkansas Tech University will host a Military Appreciation Night in conjunction with its Saturday, Oct. 15, home football game against East Central University.
As part of the celebration, there will be a reception with free food and drink for all veterans and their families from 4-6 p.m. Saturday in Hull Physical Education Building room 132. The Hull Building is located at 1306 N. El Paso Ave. in Russellville.
All current military and veterans will receive free admission for the Great American Conference football game between the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys and the ECU Tigers, which will begin at 6 p.m. at Thone Stadium at Buerkle Field in Russellville.
Paratroopers are scheduled to deliver the game ball to the stadium at approximately 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
