Arkansas Tech University cheerleaders are hosting a special men’s cheer clinic for those interested in learning the technical skills male cheerleaders should possess.
The clinic will be Friday, Feb. 17 from 3-5 p.m. in Hull Room 112.
Men will learn specific techniques for jumps, stunts and tumbling from current cheerleaders and instructors.
Aubrey Holt, coordinator of student life, said she hopes men who participate in the clinic will be interested in trying out for the squad later this spring.
The clinic is offered at no cost to men interested in attending.
