The Wonder Boys defeated Lincoln University 99-63 and dropped a 96-89 decision to Southwest Baptist University in a season-opening classic at Bolivar, Mo., last weekend. Newcomers Darrick Little (15.5 points per game) and Clarence Willard (13 points per game), along with returnee Tyler Friedel (13 points per game), are Tech's leading scorers so far this season. The Wonder Boys defeated Mid-America Christian 78-73 in their lone meeting last season. About the Evangels: Mid-America Christian is a member of NAIA and the Sooner Athletic Conference. The Evangels have scored 91 or more points in each of their last five outings, including a 91-73 exhibition victory over Great American Conference member Southwestern Oklahoma State University on Nov. 2. MACU head coach Willie Holley is in his 41st season leading the Evangels. His 772 career victories are second-most in NAIA history. Senior forward Angelo Lewis (22.8 points per game) is Mid-America Christian's leading scorer this season.]]>
