Friends of Tech will have a special opportunity this Saturday to meet members of all the Arkansas Tech athletic teams at Party at the Plaza.
Party at the Plaza festivities begin at 4 p.m. on the Centennial Plaza, and those attending will be able to spend time getting to know Arkansas Tech’s athletes.
Fans will be able to stop by booths and visit with teams, play dance revolution, clock their pitch, play tennis, practice putting and dunk their favorite player.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., Chartwells will serve a pre-game tailgate meal on the plaza. The meal costs $7, and it will feature several tailgating staples. Students who have a meal plan will be charged one swipe.
Music will be provided from KWKK 100.9. Additionally, young Tech fans will be able to enjoy a variety of large inflatable games for free.
Those wishing to show their Arkansas Tech spirit can enjoy face painting by Arkansas Tech athletes.
Game tickets can be purchased at the Thone Stadium ticket office beginning at 5 p.m. Pregame festivities are set to begin at 5:30 p.m. and kickoff against North Alabama is slated for 6 p.m.
Those wishing to purchase Arkansas Tech apparel will be able to visit the Arkansas Tech Bookstore location inside the stadium beginning at 5 p.m.
