Kyla McIsaac led the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns golf team to an eighth-place finish among a field of 14 teams at the 2011 Drury Spring Shootout on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3, at Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield, Mo.
McIsaac (photographed) fired rounds of 82 and 80 for a 162 total and a share of 12th place in the individual standings.
The Golden Suns posted team scores of 341 and 343 and finished with a 36-hole score of 684.
William Woods University had a 36-hole total of 642 to win the team title by one stroke over Drury University and the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Elizabeth Sweetnam (T-30th, 88-83-171), Ana Morales (T-40th, 83-91-174), Niki Possage (T-60th, 93-89-182) and Alyssia Duvall (T-66th, 88-97-185) also competed in the event for Arkansas Tech.
The Golden Suns will play in the Natural State Golf Classic April 11-12 in Heber Springs.
