Zachary Keith Mabry of Russellville was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Army during a ceremony at Arkansas Tech University on Saturday, May 12.
The ceremony was hosted at the Doc Bryan Student Services Building by the Arkansas Tech U.S. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program.
Mabry also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Arkansas Tech on Saturday.
After completing his nursing licensure, Mabry will be assigned to the U.S. Army Nurse Corps at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas.
