Staci Carroll Lucius, a 1994 graduate of Arkansas Tech University, is moving up at Health Management Associates, Inc.
Effective January 2011, Lucius will become the director of physician practice management for 12 hospitals in the Health Management Associates system.
She is currently serving as vice president of Sparks Clinic, which is owned by Health Management Associates and is located in Fort Smith. As part of her promotion, she will be relocated to Charlotte, N.C.
Lucius earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Arkansas Tech. She studied psychology and rehabilitation science at Tech.
According to a news release from Sparks Regional Medical Center, Lucius has worked in the Sparks system as a full-time employee for eight years. Her relationship with the hospital dates back to her years as a student at Fort Smith Northside High School when she served as a candy striper.
