A total of 22 students will compete this evening for the title of Miss Arkansas Tech University and the chance to compete in the Miss Arkansas pageant.

In addition to winning the crown, the 2013 Miss Tech will receive a two-semester tuition scholarship to Tech and several thousand dollars in prizes.

9:26 p.m. – All phases of competition are now complete.
9:11 p.m. – We’re beginning the evening wear competition.
9:07 p.m. – Q Street Jazz is performing. Evening gown is next.
8:56 p.m. – It’s now intermission. We’ll be in 10 minutes.
8: 55 p.m. – The final contestant for talent is Isabel Thoma. She’s dancing for her talent.

8:49 p.m. – Next is Tiffany Squires, and she is singing for her talent.

8:41 pm. – Freedim Leatherman is tapping to “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now.”

8:36 p.m. – Tabitha Taylor is singing “Hallelujah” for her talent.
8:33 p.m. – Kristina Sykes is contestant #16. She is performing a vocal selection from Wicked.
8:30 p.m. – Bethany Skaggs is speeding painting for her talent.
8:27 p.m. – Alex Mount is dancing to “All that Jazz” for her talent.
8: 24 p.m. – Kaylee Hefley is next. Her talent is a flute version of “Phantom of the Opera.”

8:13 p.m. – Haven Brock is next and is singing “I See the Light.”
8: 10 p.m. – Katelyn Friday is singing “It’s All Coming Back to me Now.”
8:08 p.m. – Rebecca Hendrix is performing a dance routine in honor of her platform.
8:06 p.m. – Kayla Vasquez is next. She’s performing a jazz dance to “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.”
8:04 p.m. – Markea Hunter is reciting a poem for her talent.
8:01 p.m. – Contestant number four Becca Corley is up now. Her talent is “Besame Mucho.”
7:59 p.m. – Sarah Hughey is next and is singing “Don’t Know Why” by Norah Jones.
7:58 p.m. – Brianna Epperson is performing a rendition of “Love Me Tender.”
7:57 p.m. – Talent is beginning, and this is 35% of a contestant’s score.
7:55 p.m. – Jerry the Bulldog is making an appearance at Miss Tech. The students are loving him!
7:50 p.m. – Up next is Miss Arkansas Amy Crain. She’s has been throughout the area this week. She is speaking about her platform of bullying.
7:38 p.m. – Swimsuit competition is starting now.
7:35 p.m. – Miss Tech 2012 and Miss Petit Jean Valley Claire Hodgson is performing now.
7:28 p.m. – Dr. Collins is introducing all of the judges. These judges have a tough task tonight.
7:23 p.m. – Logan Moore is contestant number 20. She’s now answering her question.
7:17 p.m. – Shelby Holland is onstage now. She is answering a question about her platform.
7:12 p.m. – Brianna Epperson is answering her onstage question. She’s the first contestant.
7:10 p.m. – A standing ovation for Miss Arkansas Amy Crain.
7:04 p.m. – The contestant introductions are underway. There are 22 contestants competing tonight.
7:00 p.m. – The jazz group is opening the show as we speak.
6:55 p.m. – It’s standing-room only at Miss Tech. The jazz group is warming up, so it won’t be long now.
6:32 p.m. – The auditorium is nearly full, and we are about 30 away from beginning.
6:01 p.m. – The auditorium is filling up, and we’re still an hour away from the start. Here’s a list of students competing.
1:20 p.m. – The pageant gets underway in just under six hours. So far– students in the pageant are busy competing in private interview.
