The Eastern National Leave No Trace traveling team will host a workshop at Arkansas Tech today.
Students, faculty and staff interested in outdoor recreation are invited to attend a special seminar from 1-3 p.m. in the Williamson Dining Hall.
Leave No Trace teaches outdoor enthusiasts about ethics and focuses on seven principles to reduce negative environmental impacts on our nation’s outdoor recreation resources.
The Leave No Trace program was established in 1994 and has educated citizens in every state and more than 25 countries.
There is no charge to attend, but officials request advance registration.
To register for the workshop, call Bobbi Haralson at 479-968-0378.
