Leadership Arkansas Visits Arkansas Tech October 2025

Arkansas Tech University hosted the members of Leadership Arkansas Class XX as part of their visit to Russellville in October 2025.

While on campus, Leadership Arkansas Class XX learned about Arkansas Tech’s history, its role in workforce education and training and its contributions to economic development in the state.

In addition to higher education, energy, manufacturing and logistics were other sectors of the Arkansas economy that Leadership Arkansas Class XX studied during its visit to Russellville. The members visited Arkansas Nuclear One, Americold Logistics and Taber Extrusions.

Representatives from the Arkansas Highway Commission, the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce and City Corporation also engaged with the Leadership Arkansas students.

The session was sponsored by Chambers Bank, the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce, Arkansas Tech and City Corporation.

Leadership Arkansas is an Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas program designed to develop emerging and established business, civic and community leaders who have the desire and potential to create a better Arkansas.

The mission of Leadership Arkansas is to challenge, inform, inspire and engage current and future business and civic leaders to enhance the economies of, and the communities within, the state of Arkansas. Since its inception in 2005, Leadership Arkansas has educated and engaged approximately 1,000 alumni representing almost every county in Arkansas.
