In just a few short weeks, freshmen will move on campus at Arkansas Tech and begin their lives as college students.
Today is the last day of Tech Knowledge summer orientation sessions.
Throughout the summer, these sessions have provided hundreds of students the opportunity to learn more about the campus and college life in general.
During each session, students learn more about campus services available for students, and they also learn about various organizations and activities at Arkansas Tech.
The TECH Knowledge sessions are led by current Arkansas Tech students, and organizers say students attending the sessions will be able to connect with upperclassmen and other students attending orientation. See which students have been leading orientation sessions.
A separate orientation is held at the same time for parents. During the parent orientation, an overview is provided of services students will be able to take advantage of.
Additionally, parents will have the opportunity to visit with other parents and learn how to simplify the process of having a child move to college.
