Southern Arkansas University won both ends of a Great American Conference softball doubleheader against Arkansas Tech University in Magnolia on Sunday.
The nationally 14th-ranked Lady Muleriders (38-12 overall, 28-10 GAC) and the Golden Suns (30-20, 24-14) will conclude their series with a doubleheader beginning at noon on Monday, April 24.

Game One: SAU 2, Tech 0
Southern Arkansas starting pitcher Kaylee Garner struck out 10 Arkansas Tech batters in a 2-0 Lady Muleriders’ victory in Sunday’s first game.
Garner (18-1) scattered seven hits over seven innings.
SAU scored both of its runs in the bottom of the third inning when Jill Roye and Marina Duran recorded consecutive run-scoring singles.
Gaby Vasquez had two hits for the Golden Suns.
Game Two: SAU 9, Tech 2
Tyler Casada went 2-for-4 with three runs batted in to lead Southern Arkansas to a 9-2 win over Arkansas Tech in the nightcap on Sunday.
Ashley Landry notched three base hits for the Golden Suns. Tech’s Cara Tolar and Jalissa Gum had one RBI apiece.
