Supporters of the Korey Brooke Heath Memorial Scholarship at Arkansas Tech University have planned a fund-raising golf tournament for summer 2025.
The inaugural Korey Heath Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, June 9, at Russellville Country Club. Registration for the three-person scramble is $150 per player. Hole sponsorships are available for $200. Full details are available on the flyer below.
A Russellville High School graduate, Heath was a senior nursing student at ATU when brain cancer claimed her life on May 29, 2023. She was a member of the ATU University Honors program and earned multiple Dean’s List awards in recognition of her academic achievement at Arkansas Tech.
Heath received her nursing degree posthumously in December 2023.
In September 2024, ATU faculty members Dr. Karmen Goodner and Dr. Jeremy Schwehm announced they were initiating an effort to establish a scholarship at ATU in Heath’s memory.
