King of Ireland's Son Tonight

The Arkansas Tech University theatre program is busy preparing for “The King of Ireland’s Son” to premiere tonight at 7 p.m.

The show will run through Saturday, showing at 7 p.m. each night. There will be a matinee showing Sunday at 2 p.m. The show is housed in the Techionery.

This community-incorporated production will not only feature Tech students, but includes children and life-size puppets.

“The King of Ireland’s Son” is based on a renowned folklore by Padrick Colum. The show is full of fantasy, puppets and action.

Senior Taylor Wyatt will be directing the play. This is the first time for a student to direct a children’s theatre production at Arkansas Tech.

The play costs $5 for children and Arkansas Tech students and $8 for general admission. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
