Organizers of the Red Flag Campaign at Arkansas Tech invite students to a special presentation by Dr. Michael Kimmel tonight.
Kimmel is a sociologist specializing in men and masculinity. A meet and greet session will begin at 5 p.m. and his presentation, “Guyland: The Perilous World Where Boys Become Men,” will begin at 7 p.m.
He has authored such works as The Gender of Desire (2005), The History of Men (2005), The Politics of Manhood (1996) and Changing Men: New Directions in Research on Men and Masculinity (1987).

Kimmel is stopping at Arkansas Tech as part of a three-month-long tour of colleges and universities across the country.
