Entry forms for the 5th Annual Juried Student Competitive are available and all art students are encouraged to enter.
Interested students may pick up an entry form outside of the Norman Hall Gallery display case. The entry form lists rules and regulations of the competition.
The juror is Dawn Holder, Assistant Professor of Art at the University of the Ozarks.
Thursday, Oct. 27 and Friday, Oct. 28 from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. are the only times to drop off works for consideration by the juror. Entry forms must be submitted by 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28.
All works that were not included in the exhibit must be picked up from the Art Conference Room by Friday, Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.
The show will be open to the public Thursday, Nov. 10. The opening reception and awards presentation will be Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 3 p.m.
The first place winner will receive $150, second place will receive $100, and third place will receive $75. Additionally, two honorable mention winners will be the recipients of a $30 gift card, one to Hobby Lobby and one to the Arkansas Tech Bookstore.
The show will be open to the public until Wednesday, Nov. 30. Admission is free. The gallery is open 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
