Summer 2025 junior high band camp at Arkansas Tech University began on Sunday, June 22.
The five-day experience will continue through Thursday, June 26. Camp-ending concerts are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. that evening at Witherspoon Auditorium.
Founded in 1964 by Gene Witherspoon, ATU band camps have provided thousands of young performers with a primer in instrumental music while also serving as an introduction to campus for generations of future Arkansas Tech students.
The 2025 ATU senior high band camp took place June 15-19.
The ATU Department of Music will conclude its summer 2025 band camp schedule by hosting middle school students July 13-17.
