Jerry the Bulldog, campus ambassador at Arkansas Tech University, has established office hours in Dr. Robert Charles Brown and Jill Lestage Brown Hall suite 104 for the remainder of the spring 2018 semester.
Jerry’s regularly scheduled office hours will be 8-11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as 2-3 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays.
Special events will require Jerry to be absent for some or all of his office hours on certain days.
Jerry the Bulldog is an Arkansas Tech tradition that dates back to the 1930s. The tradition was restored following a 76-year absence in 2013 when the ATU Student Government Association cast a unanimous vote to bring Jerry back and install him as campus ambassador.
Since making his first public appearance on Oct. 26, 2013, the first modern Jerry — Jerry Charles Young I — has represented Arkansas Tech at a wide variety of events for prospective students, current students, alumni and the community.
