Leadership Tech, a professional development program for Arkansas Tech University faculty and staff, will operate under the direction of three co-chairs during the 2025-26 academic year.

Dr. Sheila R. Jacobs, Daniel Smith and Pam Cooper will provide oversight of the program as it welcomes and engages its seventh cohort.

Jacobs is chancellor at ATU-Ozark Campus. Smith serves as ATU-Ozark vice chancellor for administration and finance. Cooper is ATU executive director of development and executive assistant for the ATU Division of Advancement.

The 2025-26 Leadership Tech group will attend monthly sessions beginning in September. Participants will learn about various aspects of ATU and develop their personal skills through increased self-awareness and opportunities to engage in teamwork.

Leadership Tech was founded in 2016. The mission of the program is “to develop and enhance the leadership knowledge, skills and abilities of all individuals as well as the collective leadership capacity of the university in order to achieve unparalleled excellence in serving our students, community supporters and institutional family.”
